January 8th 2010, Day 3:
This was probably our favorite day. We started off the day by going to the famous Serendipity Restaurant. Their world renowned frozen hot chocolates did not disappoint. They were delicious!! I would highly recommend this if you ever go to New York! Of course when we saw this in the metro Brandon had to take a picture! After Serendipity we went to the Rockefeller Center. It has been a life goal of mine to go Ice Skating in New York City. So here I am, fulfilling the dream!Jessica and I showing off our mad skating skills! While we were skating the boys and Brooklyn went to the Nintendo Store. (Every guys dream! Well at least it was for these guys.)Next we had the chance of a lifetime! Yes, that is Yankee Stadium!!Brandon's best friend from High School, Tyson Christensen, works for the New York YANKEE'S!! He totally hooked us up with what any Yankee's fan would love to experience. Our own specialized, private tour of the new Yankee Stadium!!This billion+ dollar stadium has 63 suites!! Here we are soaking in the luxury, it was seriously so nice!We went into their history museum area. Where the greatest players of all time are immortalized. Me with Babe Ruth's number. One of my favorite players. They kept a replica of the old baseball lockers. Thurman Munson died in a plane crash and his locker was kept the same ever since. It was even moved into the new stadium the exact same way. Brandon with Yogi Berra one of the most famous catchers. He was the catcher for the only perfect game pitched in the world series.Arch of a pitchers fast ball. All balls are signed by players over the years. Here we are in their sales and ticketing office. Pretending to sell to fans.We got to go in their home dugout and out on the field!Kissing by the helmet boxs. The whole gang in the home dugout! GO YANKEE'S!! Home plate! My little Yankee's fan!! Can't see home plate, but she is right behind it!This seriously was an experience of a lifetime! Thanks so much to Brandon's friend Tyson!
