Family Pictures and Olsen Family Christmas Party!

When we tried to take family pictures it started snowing right away. So we didn't get any great ones the first time. Still think it looks pretty cool with the snow though.
We watched my sister Alyson's kids while we were down in Fountain Green over Christmas Break. Vance and Jared are such big helpers with Brooklyn. Jared was so sad that he couldn't help watch Brooklyn everyday. I would catch him reading books to her and playing peek-a-boo. He is such a good cousin. Then it was time for our Olsen Family Christmas Party. Santa was able to make it, and everyone got pictures on his lap. Even my mom and dad!! (I'm pretty sure they already have what they want though, cancer free dad and more grandkids, what could be better than that. :) Then it was our turn to sit on Santa's lap. Brandon and I were waiting to see Brooklyn's reaction. With most little babies it is usually a love or hate reaction. Luckily Brooklyn was the love type reaction. Brandon and I already have everything that we wanted for Christmas. A beautiful little girl to share it with. Last year at this time we had just found out about the gastroskisis so it was a little hard to be so jolly. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. We love our little family. The Olsen Party was really fun. After we got home we helped my mom set up her Christmas Tree. It was great until it tipped over and we had to set it all up again. It has sheep on it so it is very fitting for a sheepherding family and for Christ, the good Shepherd. It is more of a bush than a tree, but it looked great.Brooklyn caught in the act of eating ornaments and ripping off the lower lights. She would giggle when she new she'd been caught. We were able to finally get some family pictures for our Christmas cards. Thanks Ali for taking them. We really hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas.
